We see control bushings fail with great regularity on 964 cars. Failures seem mileage independent, the rubber deteriorates due to age. The symptom is vibration felt in the steering wheel.
Stock-hardness – Restores performance and ride quality to original.
Sport-Hardness – Similar to the 993 RS bushing, sport hardness rubber is about 25% firmer. Deflects less under cornering loads and thereby maintains alignment more precisely.
The control arm bushing is comprised of two halves for each arm. Kit includes two halves for one complete bushing.
Stock-hardness – Restores performance and ride quality to original.
Sport-Hardness – Sport hardness rubber is about 25% firmer than stock. It deflects less under cornering loads and thereby maintains alignment more precisely.

Running out of rear toe adjustment range is a common problem on lowered cars. The bore on these bushings is offset by 6mm effectively shortening or lengthening the length of the toe link and bringing the toe adjustment back into range.
Decrease toe in – Position the eccentric to decrease toe arm length by 6mm. This solves a common problem with lowered cars that have too much toe in but not enough toe adjustment range to correct the issue.
Increase toe in – Position the eccentric to increase toe arm length by 6mm. Cars with a lot of negative camber can have too much toe out but not enough range of toe adjustment to bring it back to range.
Until now, replacing the toe links with more expensive adjustable length toe arms was the only solution to the problem. These bushings get the job done at a much lower cost.
Sport hardness rubber improves performance by reducing compression under heavy loads while providing the same noise damping quality of the stock rubber.
Replaces the rubber bushings on the rear 993 side panels.Stock hardness – Restores performance and ride quality to original.
Sport-hardness – Firmer rubber more precisely locates suspension members under load, without the noise and vibration associated with solid metal alternatives.
Each side panel has 4 rubber bushings, for a total of 8 bushings per car. Each kit includes 4 bushings, order 2 kits per car.

This clever tool is a real time saver that makes easy work of removing split bushings. Doing the job with the arms still on the car for 911, 964, and 993 saves time and labor.
It used to be a difficult task
Split bushings are actually two separate bushings, each pressed in from opposite sides of the arm. Removing them requires driving them out from the parting line where they meet, in the center of the arm. This has traditionally been a difficult job that requires removing the arm and fumbling with a punch to try and drive out the bushings from the center.
Easy & quick
This tool makes it easy to engage the parting line and drive out the bushing. It is so easy that the job can be performed without removing the arm from the 911, 964, and 993.
Pro Mechanics and DIY’ers alike will appreciate the time saving this tool provides.
